Integrate Microsoft Outlook with SchoolCal

This guide walks you through connecting your Microsoft 365/Outlook calendar system to SchoolCal, enabling automatic event synchronization between platforms. [Please provide 1-2 sentences explaining the primary benefit or problem this solves]
How To Connect Microsoft to SchoolCal
Step 1: Set up your Microsoft environment
- Create a dedicated user account in Microsoft for SchoolCal (e.g., schoolcal@yourdomain.com)
- Note that this account will be used as the default "calendar owner" for events created in general or resource calendars (if no other owner is specified)
Step 2: Connect Microsoft to SchoolCal
- Sign in to SchoolCal with the Outlook SchoolCal user account you created earlier
- Click "Settings" from the left-hand menu
- Under "Administrators", add someone from your Outlook domain who is a super admin (has access to your tenant ID)
- In a new browser window, go to app.schoolcal.com, this time logging in with Outlook using the super admin credentials you just added
- Click the "Connections" tab
- Click "Manage Connection" for the "Microsoft" connection type
- Enter your Directory Tenant ID and click "Update Connection"
- Refresh the page
- Click the "Authorize" button
- Click "Test Connection"
